Dietmar von Speyer

The deuteragonist in my novel, The Curse. He is a wizard in the court of Count Hugo, in 1256, but he doesn't really ever have to use much of his magic unless there is a dire situation. And a dire situation comes. He originally had longer hair and a hat, but I reserved that for Hugo, since the look made him look like a middle-aged, Mick Jagger-ish woman instead of a slightly middle-aged man (not that there is anything wrong with a man looking like a woman, or visa-versa--really). He is holding the Annalium Mortuum, the book that plays a major part in the plot.
